In accordance with our Mission Statement, the school team prepares children for their future by helping them achieve their full potential, as part of the Christian family and as members of the wider community.

Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Christ Church Charnock Richard Church of England Primary School

I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Christ Church Charnock Richard Primary School.

We are a Church of England Aided Primary School within the Diocese of Blackburn, and our mission statement, “Inspired to learn, grow and flourish within our Christian family” is firmly rooted in scripture.

In Philippians 4:13 ‘I can do all things because Christ gives me strength’ encompasses all we do at Christ Church to develop happy, resilient and confident children who thrive in body, mind and spirit.

This is a reflection of our Christian values of trust, koinoia, compassion, love, thankfulness, service and forgiveness

We are very much a family at Christ Church: staff, pupils, parents and governors work closely together to ensure that pupils experience a broad creative curriculum which develops the whole child and makes learning fun.

We set the highest of academic standards. Our pupil’s behaviour is outstanding and children are nurtured and valued for their uniqueness. Children love coming to school and we are blessed with a wonderful learning environment, both inside and outside which is used across school to maximise learning.

I hope your visit to our web site gives you a taste of life at Christ Church. If you would like to learn more about school or arrange a visit please contact us by email or telephone.

Warmest Regards

Helen Brooks
